VIDEO 2 PC is a video conversion system that captures and converts virtually any video and audio source. The result is quality digital videos on your computer. The software included was Cyberlink Power Director 8, which doesn't even have an option for capturing video from a VCR. I tried everything and finally ended up going to ion audio's website and downloading the software that comes with their other VIDEO 2 PC version (without the MKII) called EZ Video Converter, and finally got it working. Video 2 PC even comes with its own EZ Video Converter software that makes things quick and easy! EZ Video Converter is easy and straightforward to use and has Ion's exclusive Lookbetter technology that automatically analyzes and improves the audio-visual quality of your videos. I bought a ION Audio VIDEO 2 PC MKII Digital Video Converter. SecuritySpy sees the audio but not the video camera. Any suggestions to the video part. The Toshiba VCR protects the content via HDCP, so it was impossible to get 'Mrs. Doubtfire' onto a DVD. What a ripoff (no pun intended) But with this Ion product, I could even use the EZcap software to get some more use out of the 8mm camera - withOUT using any film! Because I can hook it up, and capture live video, as well.
